Warmblood Mare Mastitis After Weaning

Hessian Warmblood Mare, 9 years old

24 hours after weaning the foal a strong feverish Mastitis occurred on the left, with bluish-red medium sized swelling sensitive to touch, which, because of its painfulness showed a high level of limping and lameness.

Therapy: Lachesis D8 and treatment with BIOPTRON once or twice daily for 4 minutes duration.

Result: the following day the swelling and the pain vanished completely. The treatment was continued for two further days combined with several doses of Phellandrium D12.
