Recurring Mastitis in a Dairy Cow

DSB Cow, 5 years old

For three weeks the cow had recurring Mastitis, which was treated with different kinds of Antibiotics, with only short-lived success.

Many knots of the sizes of pigeon eggs to chicken eggs in the whole of the udder.

Therapy: one dose of Silicea C2000 was given twice daily and the BIOPTRON 2 device was applied for three minutes on each quarter of the udder.

Result: after four days the knots had disappeared completely. The milk contained many big flakes of pus, which created difficulties during the milking process.

Giving one dose of Phellandrium D12 once daily, made it easier to milk. After four more days the animal was back to full health.
