Bioptron Testimonial

Helga's Wound After Mammary Cancer Surgery

My Rottweiler bitch, Helga, had a second radical mastectomy for mammary cancer. Due to the amount of skin removed the suture wound was pulled together very tightly and soon ripped open, leaving a 20cm-long, gaping wound that was continually weeping. It did not help that it extended up between her back legs, not allowing air to it.

In despair as to what to do I eventually called Heidi, having heard bits and pieces about the Bioptron light and noting it mentioned on her business card. The light and selected colours reduced the swelling, inflammation and redness almost immediately. Even better, Helga seemed to enjoy it. It soon stopped weeping and by ten days the wound was healing so well I stopped using the light. When I took her back to the vet for a progress check-up he exclaimed: "There's some kind of magic going on here!"

I am so grateful that my darling dog's suffering was dramatically shortened, and she was soon back to her usual ebullient self, not to mention no more washing of pus-smeared covers! Thank you Heidi!
