Haflinger Mare Pectoral Wound

Haflinger Mare, 8 years old

Four months after injury with a piece of wood into the pectoral muscle, the wound still showed no indication of healing. Treatment with Antibiotics, several healing salves, powders and sprays, showed no results.

Treatment was done with the BIOPTRON device, once daily for 6 minutes duration.

Result: After seven days the wound was dry and whitish rims were showing, indicating Epithelisation. After four weeks of daily treatment the wound was completely closed. Only a star-shaped scar without pigments remained.
