German Shepherd Myositis Attack

German Shepherd male, 4 years old

Acute attack of Myositis eosinophilica, with high swelling and complete spasm of the masseter muscles on the left. It is the third attack within two years.

Therapy: Apply BIOPTRON 1 twice daily for 4 minutes.

Result: One hour after the first treatment the dog stopped whining. After three further hours the jaw could be moved, and he drank some water. The next day sensitivity to touch was still evident, but no other symptoms. Any further attack was treated in the same way with similar result. It is obvious that the PILER-Light Therapy cannot prevent recurrences.
