Bioptron Light Therapy Treatments for the Family

My two German Shepherds aged 10 and 11 have probably benefited most from the use of the Bioptron Light. As they are both big (36kg and 34kg) active dogs, they tend to get muscle strains which I now find I can treat immediately with great results.

Ridge, the older male dog suffered from an early age from a hind end arthritis type problem and had got to the stage where his hindquarters had taken on a very tight pinched appearance, his movement was definitely restricted, and he had taken to spending a lot of time sitting on the back doorstep. Use of the Bioptron Light, in particular purple and blue light, quickly started freeing him up and he returned to racing around the paddocks with his tail swinging freely in large circles. He now receives regular treatments and often will come and sit at my feet at night if he is in need of a treatment and the minute the light comes out he races off to the bedroom and hops on the bed (the easiest place I have found to treat the dogs because I have them up at a good height).

Ridge has also for some time now had an adverse reaction to high-pitched noises. If the batteries start to go on the smoke detectors and they emit a high-pitched beep, it will send him into a real panic and he will vacate the premises and refuse to come back in. Same with high-pitched noises on the radio or TV. However, I have discovered that by applying blue or purple light to his ears for 4-6mins each, I can completely eliminate his sensitivity for several weeks at a time.

Elle, the wee female, has recently developed a yeast infection which manifests as extremely itchy, hot, red inflamed skin with hair loss over the affected parts and a strong odour. She also has two growths; one on her hind leg and another on her stomach. I have been treating her twice daily with blue and purple light and have managed to take all redness out of the rash, and almost completely stop what was incessant scratching and biting at the affected areas, and remove the extreme build up of heat in her body. The two growths are also starting to respond to treatment.
