Bioptron Testimonial

Ditto: Rib Scar Tissue and Weak Hind Muscles

J
Testimonial from Julie Wright

15 December 2001

In August 2001 I was at my wits' end with my show dog Indara Hoss (Ditto).

His attitude in the ring told me there was more of an underlying problem than him just being lazy, which was the general consensus. The angles of his front and his hindquarter strength told me his drive and reach should be 90% better than he was using.

With an open mind, I approached Rachel Phillips who is an agent for the Bioptron Light Therapy and who is a qualified Equine Therapist.

During the first treatment, it was noted that he had old scar tissue on each side of his ribs. The muscles of the left hind did not have power, due to pain in that area.

There was heat through various parts of the spine and chest and his inner thighs were sore. He also had difficulty turning his neck to the right.

All the different coloured lenses were used. His now a standing joke that the orange one, especially for attitude is Ditto's happy pill.

His first outing after consistent weekly sessions, showed how good the treatment was: there was a noted different attitude after the first session. In the show ring, he powered into the ring, all drive and awesome reach. Still, a bit more work needed to be done in opening the gait and improving ground cover.

The general conclusion after the class was "Didn't Ditto do well". He was 1st NZ Bred dog and NZ Bred in Show. In his prior shows he was placing last. He is now a happier, more playful dog.

I fully recommend the Bioptron Light treatment to all dog and animal lovers.
