Competition Mare Muscle Tear and Haematoma

H
Testimonial from Heidi Dobbie

Following a nasty fall, a competition horse tore a muscle very badly above the stifle, which left a significant haematoma around the region. After about two weeks when it had been drained a number of times, and after the bleeding had ceased, the enlightened vet recommended Bioptron to assist with the breaking down of the clotted blood, having talked with me.

The owner used purple every day on the saucer-sized haematoma which the vet had said wouldn't heal for four-to-six months. The mare would doze while the light was on her and she was back in work in 5 weeks. The owner was beyond delighted as her show season was saved.
