Hi Allanah
Thought you might be interested in this case history.
Benson is a 14-year-old Long-Haired Dachshund desexed male dog.
Six years ago he was diagnosed with inoperable prostate cancer. He came to me for herbs and homeopathy and managed very well. He had no problems up until earlier this year when his prostate suddenly became enlarged to the extent where he could not pass urine. He was very depressed and would not go for his daily walks.
Benson had to be catheterized every second day. The owners brought him to me before making the decision to have him euthanised.
I changed his herbal preparation and started giving him the Bioptron light every time he had to have the catheter.
Two weeks later he started to urinate a little by himself so only needed to be catheterised every 3rd day. After the fourth week, Benson no longer needed to visit the vet. He now RUNS everywhere, takes himself for a swim in the sea for the first time in his life, has started to bark again, and can pass urine without any problems whatsoever.
He continues with his Bioptron treatment at intervals.
